Radio Woodstock is Seeking Interns for Fall!

DMJ Majors – Radio Woodstock 100.1 is currently offering three internship opportunities for Fall:  

Marketing & Promotions. Responsible for marketing and promoting the radio station, concert series, and Music Festivals. 

Programming/Music/Production: Work on the on-air product, music that is played, promos that are created, commercials that are created, specialty programming, and more! 

Sales. Work with the station sales representatives to create advertising campaigns for local and national advertisers.   

 

Responsibilities include: 

  1. Write company press releases and follow up with press contacts 
  1. Write copy for In-house and clients’ commercials 
  1. Assist webmaster with day-to-day data entry on the website 
  1. Social media copywriting and proofreading 
  1. Graphics, video editing, and any other creative content creation. 
  1. Assist Morning show host with Interview scheduling and prepping 
  1. Actively engage in positive communication with station listeners, event attendees, and patrons 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. The ability to work in a team environment 
  1. Energetic, outgoing and proactive 
  1. Passionate about the music industry or radio 
  1. Available to work in-person 

 

As part of the internship, you will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience with programming, production, video editing, and more! 

Interns will also be a part of the Radio Woodstock Live Events Crew. The Live Events Crew is responsible for the station’s appearance at various community events, major station promotions, remote broadcasts, concerts, fairs, and festivals. 

To qualify, you’ll simply need a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Rosendale Theatre Seeks Fall 2022 Interns to Create & Videos, Help with Stage Tech and Engage on Social Media

The Rosendale Theatre is offering internship positions this fall to help promote this community organization, which includes museum/gallery, theatre as well as event space. Ideal candidates will be able to work at the Main Street, Rosendale location and have skills in video editing, social media video and writing, teamwork, communication, and a willingness to pitch in.

Digital Media/Marketing Communications Intern Needed at Orange County Cornell Cooperative Extension for Summer and Fall 2021

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County seeks a student intern with experience in digital media marketing and communication for summer and fall positions. 

The chosen individual will work with the Communications Liaison to assist in developing marketing, graphic design, and communication materials. This internship will also work within certain social media platforms under the direction of the Communications Liaison.
