Social Media Volunteer Needed for New Paltz Refugee Nonprofit: Immediate Opening

New Paltz for Refugees (https://www.newpaltz4refugees.org/) is a grassroots, volunteer, non-profit group working with other agencies and NGOs to resettle those in need to our New York State, Hudson Valley community. The organization seeks a volunteer for the role of communications, public relations and volunteer outreach. New Paltz for Refugees is narrowing its attention to focus on 2 very needy families, one of which arrives here in the next few weeks, and the group will need much assistance. Having a student who can send out updates of progress and of the need for volunteers or donations would be so helpful as well as to deal with any media outreach.

Spring 2022 Equipment Sign Out Schedule is Here

Spring 2022 Equipment Borrowing Sign In And Out is from 10:30am – 4:00pm and 4:30 pm – 6:00pm Monday – Friday. 

Equipment Borrowing Begins Monday, February  7th, 2022, and concludes on Friday, May 6th , 2022 All Equipment Borrowed Must Be Returned at the  Designated Time and Day  

Sign In and Sign Out is by Reservation Only **There is a late fee system in effect as of January 2021.The fee for late  items is $2 per day per item. Students may be fined up to $800 for  lost/damaged equipment. You will not be able to register for classes, get  transcripts, or receive your grades until the fine is paid.**  Continue reading

Attention Journalism majors: Ask your advisor about The Ottaway Seminar, a course offered each spring that features a nationally known visiting journalist who shares their expertise and experience and teaches students about the problems and issues that face reporters and the press.
