Gigantic Studios is currently accepting applications for our Sound Engineering & Editing Internship program. Interns will gain training and mentorship through our hands-on approach, designed to provide a “behind-the-scenes” listen into all matters in post-production sound.

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:

1. Availability to commit to 2 or 3 business days on location in the studio. Gigantic Studios is located at 207 West 25th Street STE 600, New York, NY 10001
2. Strong interest in post-production, sound editing and mixing
3. Experience with and understanding of Digital Audio Workstations (especially Avid Pro Tools)
4. Meticulous attention to detail
5. Ability to communicate effectively
6. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to proactively identify or mitigate challenges
7. Ability to follow direction and take constructive criticism

A Sound Engineering & Editing Internship with Gigantic Studios will focus on, but is not limited to, assisting with these aspects of post production workflow:

1.Sound Design
2.Dialogue Editing
3.Sound Effects Editing
4.Foley Editing
5.Live Recording
6. Rudimentary System Engineering

All applicants are requested to complete a short sound editorial test in Pro Tools to be considered for the internship program.
