Synopsis/Reflection

My Virtual Presentation is addressed to the United States Congress, and I am asking them to pass legislation forcing companies to use internal equity to decide their CEO wages. Internal equity would help shrink the pay gap that exists between business executives and their employees. While my knowledge about the views of members of the United States Congress is very small, I would guess that most of the congresspeople would be opposed to my proposal, because this system has been in place for years and they would be hesitant to change it. 

I incorporated logos into my presentation through the images of data that is used for evidence on the slides. On the second slide, I put a picture of me and my grandfather which serves to aid my story about him as well as to appeal to the viewer’s pathos. That story helps to open the presentation with a background as to how I became interested in the field, and it invokes the viewer’s emotion. I established credibility by saying that I have been interested in this field and have done extensive research on the topic, as well as being a current business major.
