Live, work, and teach English in Japan with the 2025 cohort of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program!

 

The Consulate General of Japan in New York is pleased to invite the students of SUNY New Paltz to an upcoming information session for theJapan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program, a competitive employment opportunity managed by the government of Japan that allows young professionals to live and work in cities, towns, and villages throughout Japan.

A JET Program Coordinator  will discuss general information about the JET Program, including available positions, salary, living situations, and application requirements. They will also answer your questions – everything from how to assemble a strong application to what life may be like in Japan. We will also be joined by a former participant in the program.
