I am a proud alumna of SUNY New Paltz who was fortunate enough to come back home to my Alma mater to work. My husband is also a graduate. I have been a career professional in experiential learning for 21 years.


Some of my responsibilities include:
⇒ Co-planning all aspects of the Career Fair and Resumania! each semester with my colleague Christine Daly
⇒ Creating and sending the CRC’s weekly electronic newsletter
⇒ Planning campus visits for Internship programs and also career exploration trips for students to visit employers such as to Lincoln Performing Arts Center, American Museum of Natural History and NBC Universal
⇒ Overseeing the CAS Internship Stipend scholarships for spring, summer and fall
⇒ Co-facilitating the First-Year Internship Program with Erica Wagner and hosting an amazing intern each spring
⇒ Coordinating the Teaching English Abroad event in the fall and the Annual Internship Recognition Ceremony each spring
⇒ Established our office as a referral agency so that we can connect students with the Dress for Success and Suited to Succeed programs
⇒ Managed the Wednesday Workshop series each semester for several years; Now coordinates the Internship Workshop Series


What I do in my spare time:
→ Vice President of the Board of Trustees for my town’s library
→ Vice President of my son’s Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA)
→ Past President & Active Member of a local club devoted to civic involvement and community service
→ Former Technology Director on a professional organization’s board (NYSCEEA)
