Professor Alleyne work has addressed a wide range of issues within controls while mentoring countless mechanical engineering students.
Dr. Andrew Alleyne earned his Ph.D. in ME from University of California at Berkeley in 1994. Since then, he has taught at the University of Illinois in a wide range of capacities in the Granger College of Engineering. Throughout his time there, he has been involved in a wide range of research relating to many different areas of system control. In addition to his research, he has mentored over 80 MS and PhD students within his research group and has participated in many STEM outreach activities to the community.
