As a campus community at a public higher education institution, it is our duty to engage each other across hierarchical structures, to learn, explore, and address issues of systemic racism and discrimination throughout our campus. The Black Lives Matter at School Collective (New Paltz)’s purpose is to provoke critical reflection, discussion, and action regarding issues of racism on our campus and society at large.
