Prof. Heuer, the SUNY New Paltz Art History Association, and the Art History Department were so disappointed that, like so many other highly-anticipated events, our 2020 Undergraduate Art History Symposium had to be canceled due to Covid. Ever- thoughtful, Prof. Heuer collected the essays in a beautiful .pdf volume, available for download (link TBA).
But there was so much interest AHA and Prof. Heuer decided to forge ahead with a virtual version this Spring. Because we aren’t dealing with the physical challenges of hosting a large number of presenters, AHA and Prof. Heuer “went for it,” expanding the symposium from one day to three–resulting in a truly amazing variety of paper-topics from students from colleges and universities throughout the Northeast!
