UUP Interns needed!

UUP is looking for one or two good students to assist us with chapter communications and other tasks in the Fall 2025 semester. Historically, we’ve attracted students from Sociology, Political Science, English, and DMJ/Communications; but of course we’re happy to work with students from all other fields as well!!

Students can earn 3 credits over the semester, for approximately 10 hours of work per week. They will get to learn more about unions and how we represent our members, as they develop skills and knowledge related to organizing and communications. (They will register for internship credit through one of our academic departments, completing whatever paperwork required by the department to ensure they receive credit.)

Interested students should send their cv and a short note expressing their interest to me (at my UUP address below), and we will be happy to set up an interview before the end of the semester.
