Archaeological Field Technicians

Do you have or are you working on a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a related field?
Have you completed a field school or have other CRM experience?
Do you have a valid driver’s license and willing to carpool from the Albany, NY area?
Are you willing to travel to projects around New York State Monday-Friday?
Are you interested in working on all phases of CRM archaeological projects with potential for laboratory work?
The New York State Museum’s Cultural Resource Survey Program (CRSP) is looking for field technicians for our upcoming field season.
This is a temporary position, with a term date no later than December 31, 2025.
