Philosophy talk on Artificial Intelligence: Sept 30

It seems that artificial intelligence (AI) is cropping up everywhere these days, and has led to a lot of mixed reactions and debates.  How exactly does AI work?  What role should it be playing in society and in our lives?  Please join us on Monday, September 30 at 5pm in the CSB Auditorium for a nuanced and thoughtful talk on the role of AI in ethical decision-making.  Our guest speaker is Alessandra Buccella, a philosopher from the University at Albany with expertise on AI.  All are welcome.  (Flyer attached and below.)
