Virtual talk on Cultural Heritage Preservation by Corine Wegener – Thursday at 7:00 PM!
Dear Friends and Colleagues,I am thrilled to announce the sixth annual SUNY New Paltz Undergraduate Art History Symposium, which will take place this Thursday through Sunday (April 11th to 14th). This virtual event will feature presentations by 155 student-scholars representing colleges and universities across the globe, making our event the largest of its kind in the world. Our students select each year’s papers from hundreds of abstract submissions through a blind-review process, and they will also serve as the moderators for the twenty-two sessions of talks. Four SUNY New Paltz students speak at this year’s event: Amy Avolio, Jazmyne Daily-Simpson, John Saglibene, and Ella Westöö.The Department of Art History and the Art History Association invite you to see the full schedule and register for any sessions that pique your interest through the event’s website athttps://hawksites.newpaltz.edu/2024arthistorystudentsymposium/ Under the “Schedule” tab, please click on each day to see a full listing along with the button in the left margin to register for each session. We especially encourage you to join us for our keynote speaker this year at 7 PM on Thursday, April 11th.
