Space travel is becoming more possible every day, companies such as: “Space X” and “Blue Origin” are trying to make interstellar travel comercial, to potentially start fresh, on a new, clean planet, free of human pollution. Space travel doesn’t come cheap, these “tickets” to travel to space could hypothetically only be bought by the wealthiest people on this planet, this brings the middle class people to a question; if space travel was free would I want to take a trip into the stars.

I am very interested in the stars and outer space. It is mind blowing for me to think there are an infinite amount of planets and here we are, the human race, intelligent enough to find out that there may be others, intelligent aware species like us. I would love to go into space, to explore the unknown, meet new people from across the planet and start life on another goldilocks planet, suitable for life. Traveling to a new planet or into the vast emptiness of space always comes with its drawbacks, and watching multiple movies about space travel such as, “Interstellar”, “Apollo 13”, “The Passenger”, and “Alien,” there is no doubt that there is inevitable danger for anything that travels through space. By the time commercial space travel is achieved hopefully scientists and engineers could find ways to bypass these problems and keep the passengers safe all throughout their journey.

I would accept the risk and if id have to, pay for this ticket, getting a once in a lifetime experience, I would go and start a journal, being the electrical engineer I would be I would start to make modern life available, and keeping the spaceship intact, This type of trip would be a both work experience and a fun experience, not only going into space but doing what i love as a career. As spaceships open up seats for people to ride along, there comes a dilemma of space tourism, People who are highly educated in STEM majors or journalism would be the best candidates for these types of interstellar travels, where as the regular person shouldnt be given a seat, starting a new life on a spaceship or new planet means that the people living on it should be held accountable for keeping it clean, making life sustainable for the longest period of time possible. Space tourism is a delicate subject to touch on since there are many views on how people would impact a mission at hand by either helping humanity or slowly degrading it.
