Throughout this semester I was able to learn more about how to properly execute and display information in my essays. Such as improving my citation skills, my use of passive and active voice, and how to write a more concise paper. Giving me the ability to display more professional papers as well as helping me avoid chances of accidental copyright. These skills will even help me throughout my future professional career as a high school math teacher. Allowing me to write more concise and straight forward emails as well as giving me the skill to use citations to gather the best possible teaching material for my students.

The most difficult challenge about the writing process for me is organizing everything properly. I tend to gather all my information just fine but, when it comes to actually writing it down I tend to get stuck. I feel as if I can never execute the topic to the best of my ability as I would in an active conversation, making my papers somewhat lackluster.

Throughout the course I’d say the most helpful text was the Everything’s an Argument textbook. The readings gave overall clear definitions with easy to follow examples, making the learning process more effective. Reviewing the readings in class was especially useful since it would clarify any doubts I had, allowing me to at least try to execute it properly on a following writing assignment.
