My virtual presentation is primarily addressed to the United States Congress. I wanted to provide a solution to corporate pollution and found government-enforced policies as an interesting and effective option. Since I did not know every person watching my presentation, I decided to take a somewhat neutral position on my proposal. I knew not everyone would agree completely with my ideas but I also knew some people would agree completely and back my ideas fully. For these reasons, I wanted to discuss my concept and facts along with given data instead of speculating and assuming that my idea would solve everything.
In this presentation, I discuss my ideas for new policies to resolve this worldwide problem, as well as discuss previous policies. I found this, along with proper visuals to be quite effective in discussing policies instead of imposing my own ideas on the audience. I was able to find a common issue that everyone agrees needs to be fixed, and provide a solution. I wanted my images and voice to be simple yet effective, I did not want anything to jump out or be overly obnoxious but still impactful, which I think I achieved.
