Build Your Captioning Confidence!

You already know that any videos or narrated PowerPoints you post online need to have closed captioning to be compliant with web accessibility guidelines, but are you sure your content is ready to be effectively captioned?
This workshop will go through the basic guidelines and best practices of preparing video content for closed captioning, so that you can ensure that your course content meets all accessibility standards!
Option 1: Wednesday, March 13 at 3:00pm
Option 2: Thursday, March 28 at 4:30pm  

Exploring OSCQR

Whether you’ve already spent some time with OSCQR or whether you’re brand new to using this tool, this workshop will help deepen your engagement and will provide opportunities for discussing some of the key criteria of the rubric.
OSCQR was primarily designed for use with online or hybrid courses, but faculty teaching face-to-face courses are also welcome to join this workshop.
Option 1: Monday, April 1 from 10:00am – 12:00pm
Option 2: Friday, April 12 from 10:00am – 12:00pm
