Mohonk Preserve Hike at the West Trapps for Faculty & Staff, Fri. April 5, 5:00 p.m.

Come enjoy the Mohonk Preserve at the WEST TRAPPS.  Wildflower wander, sit and see, rock scramble, or moderate hike.  Carpool from behind the FDC, College Hall 113 (4:40 p.m.), or meet us on the mountain, Route 44/55, Gardiner (5:00 p.m.). We will gather on the steel bridge, at the top of the path at the far end of the parking lot. Disabled accessible.  Bring your own Mohonk Pass or contact the Faculty Center (facultycenter@newpaltz.edu) to register for one or to arrange a ride or accommodations. Of course CSEA employees and alumni are encouraged to join us!

Directions:  The Trapps entry, 44/55 Gardiner.  Take Main Street/299 downhill and West towards the Gunks.  At the end (by the Mountain Brauhaus) turn right onto 44/55.  Climbing the mountain from the New Paltz & Gardiner direction, The Trapps will be on your right, just before Peterskill and Lake Minnewaska entries.

CARPOOL: Meet at FDC, College Hall 113, or just outside, Plattekill Ave. parking lot behind College Hall, near New Science Building for 4:40 p.m. departure.
